Lamar pursued his professional group fitness career after leaving the corporate world in 2018 to become a fitness professional. A lifelong athlete, his fitness journey began on the basketball court at the age of 8. While honing his skills on the hardwood floor, he is also a 1st Degree Black Belt in martial arts. Lamar attended Rider University where he played Division 1 basketball on a full scholarship and earned a spot on the MAAC All Rookie Team as a Freshman.
