My tip for having your Best Week Yet is to think about the outcome. That feeling you have when you finish a workout and that high it gives you? Remember why you show up and show out in the first place. The hardest part is waking up or leaving work after a long day and pushing yourself to a class, but the best part is clipping in and finishing a class that leaves you feeling like your best self! Your mind is the most powerful tool you have. Use it to your advantage and say yes — yes, you can do this, and yes, you will! (Also water, hydrate more than ever!)
HYDRATE! adding an electrolyte replacement beverage or coconut water is a great choice.
BCAAs! AKA branched-chain amino acids, these proteins are essential.
1. Plan ahead. I like to write my workout schedule down Sunday nights, and then commit to it. 2. Do it with a friend. I also like making workout dates with friends because then we can hold each other accountable. 3. Meal Prep. Something i've really been into is making individual smoothie bags in small ziplocs. It makes it so much easier to make and clean smoothies, especially if you've got limited time. 4. Cross train/revocery. I like to spend my evenings catching up on shows while rolling out! Also before bed, Epsom salt baths, candles and a good book always do the trick.
HYDRATE. Drink lots of water and make sure to incorporate electrolytes. SLEEP. Allow your body to recover. EAT. You know your body best; fuel yourself for success.
Hydrate. Hydrate. Hydrate. (With water... rosé to celebrate!) Sleep. Snack. Sweat. Stretch. Fuel your body efficiently and effectively. Get a good night's sleep, set a daily intention, hydrate, eat, SWEAT, hydrate (again), eat (again) and then repeat.
