MEET THE INSTRUCTOR

Meet Your New Instructors!

Our instructors are the heart and pulse of SoulCycle. With legendary energy and inspiring playlists, they step onto the podium to inspire and challenge each rider to push themselves beyond what they thought possible, both physically and mentally. Hailing everywhere from right here in London to Ohio—and a few places in between—our London instructors are ready to start their journey with all of you. Get to know them. Get to love them. Then go book a ride and sweat it out with them.

Lauren

My hometown:

South London

I became a SoulCycle instructor because:

I was looking for more than just a workout. I wanted to become a stronger version of myself, and use my voice to empower and motivate others to unlock their potential.

The thing I love most about my job is:

Connecting with souls through movement and music, knowing they trust me to take them everywhere—and nowhere.

What I love to see when I look out at a class is:

Riders moving as a pack and embracing their power.

Three words that describe me are:

Sass, sarcasm and hair.

A quote I live by is:

“Say yes!”

Describe your music taste in one word:

VIBEY!

People are often surprised that I:

Own over 100 pairs of trainers.

My #1 bucket list item is:

To backpack around Thailand.

The one thing I can’t live without:

Hair mousse.

Olivia

My hometown:

South London

I decided to become an instructor because:

I got bored of fitness classes that were there just to change your body. I wanted something that would change me emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

The thing that surprised me most about my training:

I didn't expect to fall so head over heels in love with SoulCycle, so quickly. Did you know you can be IN LOVE with a community? Because you can!

What I love to see when I look out at a class:

A first time rider going for it, and surprising themselves with what they can do!

Three things you’ll always get in my class:

Teenage angst, a hair whip, and long runs to third.

Describe your music taste in one word:

Grungy.

My go-to post-ride snack is:

Sweet potato fries.

People are often surprised that I:

Am only 23! Apparently I come across as mature (either that or I need to get on the anti-wrinkle cream).

When I need to re-energize I:

SLEEP!

To find my happy, I:

Speak to my parents or cuddle my dog.

Joshua A.

My hometown:

Weymouth

The first SC class I ever took was:

Janet at the West Village in NYC.

The thing that surprised me most about my training:

I learned so much about myself I didn't realise was there. Oh, and I cried A LOT.

The thing I love most about my job is:

Knowing I have a platform to inspire, encourage, empower, entertain and strengthen bodies and minds.

Me in three words:

Fighter, joker, supporter.

My favorite things about living in London is:

Living in a city with so much history, iconic landscapes and so many amazing things to do.

When I want to chill I:

Get outside, listen to music, light a candle.

Three things you’ll always get in my class are:

Throwbacks, power, and a PARTY.
