Post-SOUL Stops from MINIMODE's Colleen Crivello and Maria Benetos
September 22, 2015
We’re obsessed with MINIMODE, the online destination for style-savvy moms that includes everything from kids fashion to celeb mom interviews to top spots to shop. The site’s creators — SoulCycle riders MARIA BENETOS and COLLEEN CRIVELLO — gave us the scoop on a few NYC stops they love to hit after tapping it back…

Best Grab and Go near SoulCycle Soho: Smile To Go
Take a stroll two blocks south of the Soho studio and you’ll undoubtedly come upon a small crowd of stylish people snacking on a mouth-watering array of salads, sandwiches and baked goods. This tiny spot with a rustic atmosphere and simple food that attracts the masses is courtesy of NoHo hipster restaurant, The Smile. The owners created this small to-go outpost with the hope of bringing “L.A.-style” takeout to New York. That translates to a daily-changing selection that includes addictive bacon sliders, a tangy kale salad with black cherries, lemon vinaigrette and toasted almonds and an orange cinnamon bun that tastes that much sweeter knowing you put in your Soul-session prior to indulging.

What’s more social than getting your Soul on in NYC? Chances are, you’ll want to look fab doing it! Bandier can help.

Best “Me-Time” Indulgence near SoulCycle West 27th Street: Madison Square Park
You just spent the last 45 minutes sweating it out to loud music with a group of like-minded people who helped you push yourself as hard as you can go. You feel amazing… but now you just need some me time. What to do? Thankfully a lot, if you’re in the Madison Square Park area! Grab an espresso at Eataly, have a gelato, or simply wander through the aisles admiring the insanely vast selection of food and drink. Care to be outdoors? Wander through Madison Square Eats, the semi-annual culinary pop-up market featuring the city’s top chefs and restaurants or just take it easy with a book under a shaded tree with a Shake Shack Vitamin Creamsicle Shake.
