10 Inspiring Soul Stories of 2015

Before kicking off a new year here at the SoulCycle blog, we’re taking a moment to reflect and celebrate some of the most inspiring stories from 2015. It’s an honor to share your experiences each day, and we’re grateful for all you bring to SOUL. Happy 2016!

At age 16, Jordan has been battling brain tumors for more than a decade, but her tenacious strength and indomitable spirit led her dad, LARRY, to bring her to SoulCycle Santa Monica for a very special ride in April. Larry's beautiful and inspiring story touched our entire SoulCycle community.

After meeting in class at SoulCycle TriBeCa, TRISHA and COURT went on a marathon first date — and said “I do.” They shared the story of their SOUL connection, the dramatic proposal and their storybook wedding.

At 28, Kate was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer but she continued to ride at SoulCycle throughout her treatment. Her story is one of hope, strength and the power of community.

As she recovered from a debilitating eating disorder, Melissa found support through the messages of strength and inspiration at SoulCycle.

When Jessica’s brother Brendan — a fellow SoulCycle rockstar — passed away unexpectedly this year, she found strength in the community and now honors him with every ride.

Ashley shed 72 pounds by riding at SoulCycle — and gained unshakeable confidence and a sense of community.

This warrior spent 22 days in a coma and endured 13 brain surgeries after a horrifying accident in 2013. After a long, grueling recovery, she got back on the bike at SOUL, started doubling and opened up about her incredible and inspiring journey.

After the devastating loss of her husband, Shira found solace at SoulCycle and dropped 100 pounds.

Tapping it back boosted this incredible warrior’s strength and endurance while undergoing debilitating chemotherapy.

Greg shed more than 150 pounds and 22 inches from his waist while becoming happier and healthier as he tapped it back.

Happy New Year! Do you have a Soul Story to share? Email! Want to ride? Grab a series HERE and book a bike!
