Healthy Thanksgiving Leftovers Recipe: Sweet Potato Smoothie

fter the long holiday weekend of feasting — and a month of eat, drink, repeat in front of you — perhaps you're craving some clean, nutritious food to power you through your week? We feel you! This Sweet Potato Pie Smoothie from avid SoulCyclist Candice Kumai, healthy chef and author of the cookbookClean Green Eats, will hit the spot. Plus, its loaded with beta-carotene and vitamin C, which well help you recover from (or fuel up for) your next ride.


Ingredients

2 cups leftover sweet potato mash or roasted sweet potatoes/sweet potato pie


1 pinch pumpkin spice


1 pinch cinnamon


1/2 frozen banana


3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk


3/4 cup light coconut milk


Directions

Add all ingredients into a high-powered blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately and enjoy!
