47 Products to Give Your Skin a Post-Workout Glow

apping it back boosts circulation, which helps give your skin a natural glow. How can you keep that healthy post-workout look longer? Instructors share their favorite beauty products that promote complexion perfection...

A recent acquisition of mine has been a line called Glossier. I own their Phase 1 set. It's a rosewater spray, a moisturizing primer, a lip salve and a skin tint. I have to say, I truly love these products. The line just launched and the chicks who run it are really smart and savvy and you can tell based on the quality and packaging of their products. I recommend buying the complete kit for any female rider at SoulCycle. It's the perfect post-class pick me up that makes your face look pulled together and fresh but not made up so you can take a 10:45 AM on Saturday and then go straight to lunch.

I use Origins Checks and Balances to wash my face followed by Darphin Ideal Resource face cream and M-61 Hydraboost Eye Cream to keep my skin looking fresh and young (helloooooo, 30!).

My favorite go-to products post-SOUL are the Georgio Armani Maestro Fusion Foundation to even out my skin and the Nars Illuminator in Orgasm for a healthy glow!

I don't use too many products or wear make-up often. I always wash my face right after class in the shower with Dove soap. After the shower, I always moisturize with Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture Facial Moisturizer SPF 35.

I keep a little tub of Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream in my locker at Short Hills, which I apply after washing my face. Once that soaks in, I do a quick once over with Tarte bronzer in Park Avenue Princess. I also have about seven lip glosses with me at all times, from totally clear to shiny neutral, berry and bright red. Depends on my mood and the vibe of my #SOULstyle!

I basically wear no makeup because I'm all about the SOUL glow — ESPECIALLY right after class! What I do for my skin is wash it, moisturize any hydrate! I use Elizabeth Arden Superstart Skin Renewal Booster skin serum, Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Cream to moisturize, Kiehl’s Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Eye Cream, Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula lip balm (the thick stick! and Dior Show mascara!

I love Aveeno Positively Radiant as a moisturizer post-class… it gives my skin a little glow and combats some of the redness from sweating. Aside from that, my go-to products are Bobbi Brown. I find that they stay on my skin through out the day without clogging my pores.

I'm completely obsessed with Yes to Tomatoes face wipes and moisturizer! They keep my skin hydrated but not oily and they've totally cleared up any and all blemishes that come with riding so often. I’m also obsessed with Benefit's Watts Up Soft Focus Highlighter for under my eyes. It opens them up and gives a subtle glow — perfect for spring and summer!

My favorite face moisturizer is Laura Mercier Flawless Skin Repair Day Cream SPF 15!

I love the Nars Tinted Moisturizer. It revitalizes your face while still giving it the moisture it needs. I also love MAC mineral bronzer; it’s super light and it gives your skin a nice and easy shimmer. Both of these products give me a nice and easy fresh face after class.

I love Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, Benefit Hoola bronzer and Mac Mineral Blush in Dainty!

The post-SOUL glow comes from SOUL! But, to add to it I use Almay's Smart Shade tinted moisturizer. It's perfect because it has light coverage and SPF. In my hair, I use R+Co Cleansing Foam Conditioner. It smells amazing and doesn't dry your hair out. Lastly, I always use a good body lotion. Right now it's Alba's Coconut Ceep Moisturizer. It smells like the beach and reminds me of summer.

I have to admit, it took me a long while to get my skin care regimen set, after much trial and error. With all that sweat, wash, nap and repeat you can really do damage to your dermis. And after trying what feels like everything on the market (in the holistic realm that is) I’ve come to believe that simple is the secret. This is truly a case of less is more! Here’s what I do:

1. After class I splash with cool water (or rinse in the shower).
2. I dry my face as fast as I can so that I don’t sit too long with water (it can be drying).
3. I spritz with a concoction I make of aloe and witch hazel and some essential oils.
4. While my face is damp from the spray I drip a few drops of my face oil (I make this at home too!) and I warm them in my hands then massage into my face and neck.

The only make-up I wear post SoulCycle is a bit of RMS shimmer. I LOVE their Illuminizer and also the Buriti Bronzer (and I’m dying to try their new Master Mixer, but I haven’t gotten to pick some up and try yet). I dab some illuminizer high on my cheek bones and under my brow. For bronzer I half moon the sides of my face and brush in towards my nose on my cheeks.

I use bareMinerals Complexion Rescue tinted moisturizer and a bronzer by Benefit called Dallas!

I try to always wash my face post class! When you're in that room, we work hard and sweat A LOT! After washing my face, my go-to product of Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer. It's a great product that provides coverage and also SPF! It's my fave!

My go-to products start with what I wash my face with. My fiance’s grooming line — Blind Barber — makes this minty face wash that is super refreshing (it's for girls too!) As an instructor, one of my biggest battles is dry skin (since we are showering multiple times per day). I am obsessed with Fresh Seaberry Face Oil and use it a few times a day. I never put on make up before or in between classes (it's just going to come right back off!) but if I'm done with work I use Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer, Laura Mercier Matte Bronzer and Glossier Boy Brow to wrangle my eyebrows.

I’m a big fan of Josie Maran's Argan Oil. I love Laura Mercier Foundation Primer in Radiance — I'll wear it alone and just use a little Tom Ford concealer when teaching. If I want a more polished look, I wear Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in Natural. For cheeks, I like a cream blush like Make Up For Ever HD Blush.
