Which Music Festival Matches Your Soul?

pring is right on the horizon, and as the temperatures rise, the beats drop. That’s right — music festival season is almost here! As many instructors and riders gear up for music-inspired getaways, we rounded up some festivals you might want to see this season...
If you like to tap it back to Tiesto, Dillon Francis and Matthew Kona…

…Then head to Lollapalooza in Chicago, Illinois! Grab your best neon and rock out to high-energy performances from July 28-31! While this year’s lineup hasn’t been announced, previous headliners have included artists such as Kygo, Kaskade and Kid Cudi, with other diverse acts such as Metallica and Paul McCartney.

Prepare by listening to: “Sweet Escape” by Alesso (featuring Sirena)

If you rock out to Red Hot Chili Peppers, Walk The Moon and Death Cab for Cutie…

…Then head to Napa, California for the BottleRock Festival! The 2016 lineup boasts artists ranging from Andy Grammer to Lenny Kravitz, so it’s perfect for music fiends who crave a little less synth and a little more guitar. Hit up the three-day rock festival from May 27-29, and then stick around to unwind at some local vineyards before you head back to the real world.

Prepare by listening to: “First” by Cold War Kids

If you push your pace to anything under the sun...

…Then head to Coachella! This weeklong desert party — located Indio, California from April 15-24 — boasts headliners from Zedd to Guns N' Roses, ensuring there’s really something for everyone. Grab your flower crowns and go West to experience the best that music has to offer.

Prepare by listening to: “Wild Things (live acoustic)” by Alessia Cara

If you seek SOULful moments from Vance Joy, Of Monsters and Men and Ed Sheeran...

…Then head to Firefly Music Festival from June 16-19 in Dover, Delaware! Although 2016 headliners include big names such as A$AP Rocky and CHVRCHES, Firefly generally skews slightly more alternative with bands such as Kings of Leon and Florence + The Machine and throwbacks such as Earth, Wind and Fire. The mellower vibes make Firefly the perfect foray into the music festival pond.

Prepare by listening to: “Something Good Can Work” by Two Door Cinema Club

If you sprint to Galantis, Bassnectar and DJ Snake…

…Then head to TomorrowWorld in Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia. Don’t be turned off by the epic mudfest of 2015, because it seems that TomorrowWorld will be back and better (and drier!) than ever this year. It’s an extension of TomorrowLand, with epic stages that literally travel the globe from Belgium to Brazil to the fields skirting Atlanta. Get set to camp in a community of over 100,000 like-minded, musically driven individuals while jamming to the best in EDM.

Prepare by listening to: “Too Original” by Major Lazer (featuring Elliphant & Jovi Rockwell)
