Assistant Managers

Through a positive, motivating and constructive style, the Studio Manager will provide the leadership and vision necessary to ensure that the studio is exceeding our rider's expectations. They will have a sense of ownership over their studio and will ensure that the SoulCycle brand and culture are always present.

responsibilities

• Provide high-level customer service and exceptional hospitality to SoulCycle clients, handling client issues and concerns in a positive and timely manner.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager on the implementation of standard operational policies and procedures designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization.
• Train, motivate, direct, coach and evaluate all studio staff, creating and maintaining a team that is highly personable, client-oriented and committed to achieving and exceeding both the studio and company goals.
• Maintain the SoulCycle brand's distinct culture and community
• Supervise the studio's retail operations
• The Studio Manager will be expected to be in the studio on four days during the week (Monday through Friday) and one day during the weekend. In addition, Managers may be asked to work 5-10 additional flex-hours during the week based upon Company needs.

• Prior managerial and/or leadership experience
• Experience in hospitality, luxury brand retail or health & fitness a plus.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and service-oriented outlook.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members, clients and senior management.
• Enthusiasm for fitness with a passion for our product
• Ability to work flexible/non-traditional hours

If you are interested in teaching at SoulCycle, we encourage you to come audition for the SoulCycle teacher training & certification program! We require that ALL instructors complete the training program prior to teaching at SoulCycle. The SoulCycle Method is revolutionizing indoor cycling in a safe and motivational way by incorporating a FULL BODY WORKOUT with a mental component. At SoulCycle, we will teach you how to inspire riders, change bodies and ultimately change lives.

SoulCycle Trainees will learn the following:

• How to create a 45-minute & 1-hour SoulCycle FULL-BODY ride
• SoulCycle Arm Series
• SoulCycle Ab/Core Series
• SoulCycle Stretch Series
• How to create a SoulCycle music playlist
• How to motivate, inspire and add a mental/emotional component to your ride
• SoulCycle Safety

Certification training sessions will ONLY take place three times a year. And upon successful completion of the SoulCycle program and in-classroom riding hours, trainees will be given the opportunity for a teaching position at SoulCycle.
