  • Soul Muse: Isabel Cheren

Here on the Soul Blog we're starting a series called SOUL MUSES to highlight riders who inspire us.  And first up we have... Isabel Cheren.

    NAME:  Isabel Cheren

    AGE:  71

    STUDIO:  East 83rd St

WHEN DID YOU START SPINNING?:  The first day the east side opened (September, 2010).

OCCUPATION:  I've had two careers.  In 1975 I became an Adult Nurse Practitioner (a pioneer in the field).  From 1983-1994 I became a Director of Human Resources and Labor Relations and afterward I returned to my original career.

WHY DO YOU CONTINUE TO RIDE?:  I love everything about it from the friendly staff to the great instructors who motivate you and accept you the way you are.  The classes give me engery and release tension.

YOU INSPIRE US.  WHAT INSPIRES YOU?:  Sharing ideas.  I love feeling and seeing how everyone helps each other out in life.
